Abstract

The relationship between overloaded trucks and corresponding economic impact on flexible pavement was investigated using HDM-4 model. Accordingly, a rational overload fine structure was prepared using optimum maintenance standards. Comparison was then made between developed rational and existing court imposed overload fines. It is believed that results of this study can help road management agencies in improving overload management.
