Entoto Park

Historically, Entoto Mountain was a palace and the royal court to Emperor Menelik in the 1800s. The park is a unique natural sight in a mountain area for relaxation and pleasure. It is at the north edge of Addis Ababa at an altitude of 2600m to 3200 meters.

Friendship Square

Friendship Park, officially named Sheger Park Friendship Square, is located in Arat Kilo, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The main entrance is Tayitu Street in front of Sheraton Addis Hotel. The park comprises cultural centers, an art gallery, cafeterias, and more.

Unity Park

Unity Park is located at the Grand Palace in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, a compound that has been a seat of state for more than a century The total land coverage of the grand palace is 40 acres and it contains myriads of historical buildings and plants that date back to the time of emperor Menelik II, the founder of the Grand Palace.

Abrehot Library

Abrehot Library is a public library in Addis Ababa. It is the largest library in Ethiopia. Abrehot, meaning 'Enlightenment', in the Amharic language, is located in front of the Parliament Hall and could accommodate more than 2,000 users at a time. The 4-storey facility is equipped with 1.5 km long shelves that are capable of holding 1.4 million books. Apart from books, Abrehot library currently houses more than 300,000 local and 120,000 international research papers.

Holy Trinity Cathedral

Located near the Parliament Hall, Holy Trinity Cathedral, also known in Amharic as Kidist Selassie, is the highest ranking Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was built to commemorate the Ethiopian victory over Italian occupation and is an important place of worship in Ethiopia. It is also known for being the burial place of notable Ethiopians.
